Responsibilities

  • Study towards a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions at University Centre Weston, attending university one day a week over four years
  • Work within the business when not at university, supporting System Analysis or System Design Weapon Systems Function
  • Complete six-month rotations within allocated home department and potentially outside the function in areas such as Weapon Systems Algorithms & Performance, Network Communications, Command and Control, Software Engineering, Cyber, Trials, or Weapon System Simulation & Experimentation
  • Contribute to teams working on products at any stage of the product lifecycle, including Design work, Future Concepts, Testing, Verification and Validation, or supporting trials
  • Build knowledge in weapon systems functionality, performance, communication, and progression from feasibility to development and delivery
  • Specialise in areas like algorithmic thinking and coding, hardware installation and analysis, future battlespace storyboarding, or remain a broader Systems Engineer
