Requirements

Ideally degree qualified in a relevant field with proven post-graduation experience
Systems Engineer experience in modern Systems Engineering methods and tools
Experience in specifying, reviewing and managing requirements
Eagerness to enhance skills in emerging Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering concepts
Strong team spirit to collaborate within a dynamic, multi-disciplined team
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship (security clearance requirements)
Ability to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

Play a key role in developing advanced actuation technologies for next-generation defence systems
Work as part of a multi-disciplined team developing actuation systems across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept to qualification
Collaborate with engineers at missile level to ensure the actuation system meets the needs of the missile
Work with various engineering disciplines within the Centre of Excellence to understand the functional architecture and relevant requirements for the electronics, mechanical and software domains
Opportunities to take on role as a support Systems Engineer or a lead Systems Engineer, depending on experience
