Responsibilities

Work within Systems Design functions to design Complex Weapons capabilities for UK and partner nation Armed Forces across Air, Land, Maritime, and Cyber domains
Complete a 10-month placement based on a project at any stage, from future capabilities to in-service products
Understand the make-up of a missile or weapon system, including warhead, seeker, and wider system components
Apply the Systems Engineering ‘V’ model across the product lifecycle, including researching future technologies and novel domains
Develop requirements and functional architectures
Create concept solutions through Agile methodologies
Analyse performance and conduct trade space studies
Conduct verification and validation through trials and lab tests
Gain exposure to various technologies, engineering methodologies, and customer needs
Integrate into the team, assume increasing responsibility, and collaborate with engineering fields, business teams, suppliers, customers, and international colleagues
