Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux administration within the RedHat ecosystem, demonstrating proficiency in local firewall configuration using firewalld and iptables, domain integration with sssd and realmd, network configuration including DHCP and static IP, package management with yum/dnf, and familiarity with system log files, journalctl, and log rotation. Strong experience with LVM, local and SAN storage, file systems (XFS, ext4, NFS, CIFS), and file transfer using openssh (SFTP) and rsync is required, as well as knowledge of SELinux and its configuration.
The Systems Analyst II - System Administration will be responsible for executing procedures such as patching, performing server maintenance, analyzing vulnerability reports and access logs, troubleshooting RedHat Linux OS and automation configuration, building servers, managing incidents and responding to issues, providing support to internal application and development teams, implementing and maintaining automation/configuration management tools like Red Hat Satellite or Foreman, AAP or AWX, Puppet, Git, and YAML, scripting using shell scripting (bash) and Python, troubleshooting authentication/authorization, permission, storage, performance, and networking issues, and utilizing tools such as ping, nslookup/dig, nmap, and netcat. They will also be responsible for managing SSL certificates, including basic certificate handling and checking using openssl, and working with VMware, including logging into servers, extending resources, and booting in rescue mode, as well as managing containers using Docker/podman and Kubernetes/OpenShift with ArgoCD and Helm.
