  • Expertise in System Monitoring and Performance Tuning – Proficient with monitoring tools, log analysis, and performance optimization for servers, databases, and transactional applications
  • In-Depth Knowledge of IT Infrastructure – Solid understanding of operating systems, networks, databases, and application integration to support end-to-end transaction workflows
  • Attention to Detail and Data Integrity – Ensures accuracy and consistency across transactional systems, maintaining compliance with audit and security standards
  • Collaboration and Communication Skills – Works effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and operations, to address issues and implement system improvements
  • Demonstrates awareness of the metrics used to monitor software or system performance

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize the organization’s transactional systems to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity
  • Oversee critical business applications, servers, and databases that support real-time transactions
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively to minimize downtime and service disruptions
  • Monitor system logs, performance metrics, and alerts to detect anomalies
  • Implement performance tuning and security measures
  • Coordinate with development, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless transaction processing
  • Record and classify received Incidents and undertake immediate corrective action for low complexity queries
  • Assign / Escalate unresolved Incidents and major issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Log all Incident/Service Request details, allocating categorization and prioritization codes
  • Investigate and diagnose Incidents to restore a failed IT Service as quickly as possible & within the specified SLA’s
