Candidates must have 5+ years of experience administering Atlassian tools in an enterprise environment and 1+ years of experience administering the ServiceNow platform in an enterprise environment. Deep expertise in Jira Software and Jira Service Management administration, including schemes, workflows, automations, SLAs, and permissions, is required. Strong knowledge of Confluence space management, templates, and governance, along with proficiency with Atlassian REST APIs, scripting languages like Python, Groovy, or JavaScript, and automation frameworks, is also necessary. Experience with SSO/SAML and user provisioning tools such as Okta or Azure AD is required, as is a strong understanding of REST APIs and integration methods.
The Systems Administrator will manage, configure, and maintain Atlassian products including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Access, ensuring platform scalability, stability, and performance. Responsibilities include administering user provisioning, permissions, and security controls, designing and implementing advanced Jira workflows and automation rules, and configuring Confluence spaces and templates. The role involves managing marketplace apps, evaluating third-party integrations, and building integrations between Atlassian products and external systems like ServiceNow, GitHub, Slack, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. Developing and maintaining REST API scripts for automation, reporting, and data exchange, proactively monitoring system health and license usage, and building dashboards and reports are also key duties. The administrator will partner with security and compliance teams to support audits and policy adherence, establish and enforce standards for project setup and usage, and perform day-to-day support, monitoring, and basic administration of the ServiceNow platform, including assisting with forms, lists, reports, and acting as first-line support for incidents.
