Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, with 5-7 years of hands-on administration and engineering experience in an enterprise Microsoft 365 environment. Proven experience leading M365 implementations, upgrades, or major configuration projects is required, along with in-depth knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD, and security & compliance features. Advanced experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), strong PowerShell scripting experience, familiarity with Graph API, and demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and interface with senior leadership are essential. A strong understanding of hybrid environments, integration with on-prem Active Directory and legacy systems, and knowledge of AI capabilities within Microsoft 365 are also necessary. Candidates must be US citizens. Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Certifications (MS-102, SC-401, or equivalent), SharePoint Online administration and customization experience, strong experience with implementing Defender for O365, Information Protection, sensitivity Labels, DLP, Data Governance, and monitoring compliance issues.
The Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator will serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert responsible for overseeing the architecture, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Microsoft 365 environment. This role involves leading and driving Microsoft 365 upgrades, migrations, and platform modernization efforts. Responsibilities include architecting, configuring, and maintaining secure and resilient Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and the M365 Admin Center. The administrator will own and implement best practices for identity, access, and compliance policies using Conditional Access, DLP, Sensitivity Labels, and Defender for Office 365. They will act as a technical lead for M365-related projects, manage tenant-level configurations including hybrid integrations and licensing strategies, and proactively monitor system health, usage metrics, and security compliance using tools like PowerShell, Graph API, and Security & Compliance Center dashboards. Developing and enforcing governance standards, documentation, and disaster recovery procedures, mentoring junior team members, providing advanced support, evaluating emerging M365 technologies, and providing end-user guidance and training are also key responsibilities.
