Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a similar role, specifically supporting Microsoft 365 services. Proven hands-on experience with configuration and administration within the M365 environment is required, along with a strong understanding of M365 security best practices. Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within M365 is essential. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is necessary. Proficiency in both written and spoken German (B2/C1) and English is mandatory. Certifications related to M365 services and experience with PowerShell scripting and automation are considered a plus.
The Senior Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of key M365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, O365, and Exchange/Outlook Client, through regular monitoring. This role involves providing advanced support for M365-related issues, diagnosing and resolving technical problems promptly, and conducting essential upgrades, patches, and enhancements across the M365 environment. The engineer will implement and uphold security protocols to protect M365 services and ensure compliance, while also working closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth M365 service operations and providing technical expertise for ongoing projects. Additionally, the role includes managing and resolving support tickets within a ticketing system, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements, and ensuring timely issue resolution.
