Requirements
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years managing complex SharePoint environments (on-premises and cloud-based)
- Hands-on experience with configuration, administration, and optimization of SharePoint environments, including site collections, permissions, workflows, and integrations
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards for SharePoint environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in German (B2/C1) and English, both written and spoken
- Nice to Have:
- Certifications related to SharePoint or M365 services (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, Teams Administrator Associate, or similar)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for managing and optimizing SharePoint environments
- Familiarity with M365 services and their integration with SharePoint
- Experience with system monitoring, perfomance tuning, and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation, optimal performance, and continuous availability of SharePoint environments
- Provide advanced support for SharePoint-related issues, by diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems to minimize disruptions
- Address user-reported issues promptly and identify root causes to implement long-term solutions
- Design and implement robust security protocols to safeguard SharePoint environments from unauthorized access
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise for SharePoint-related projects
- Facilitate training sessions for users to enhance adoption and effective use of SharePoint tools and features
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and administration of SharePoint environments, including site collections, permissions, workflows, and third-party integrations
- Implement governance policies to ensure efficient use and compliance with organizational standards
- Manage and resolve support tickets using ticketing system, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring timely resolution of all issues
- Plan, coordinate, and execute SharePoint upgrades, migrations, and patches
- Evaluate and implement new features to enhance SharePoint functionality
