Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a System Administrator or 1 year as a DevOps/SRE Engineer. Strong Linux administration skills, proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy scripting, and experience in automation development are required. Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform, a solid understanding of the network stack (NGINX, DNS, DHCP, PXE), familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles, and understanding of CI/CD principles are also necessary. Experience with virtualization, containerization, and provisioning/orchestration systems is needed, along with upper-intermediate English proficiency and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

The System Engineer will collaborate with Senior System Engineers and DevOps professionals to ensure the smooth operation and high availability of production systems. Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code practices, and creating, extending, and improving delivery and development processes and systems. The role involves participating in software deployment and maintenance phases and being part of the Incident Management roster, including on-call shifts for troubleshooting and resolving production incidents.
