Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in People/HR roles, with 5+ years leading both People Operations and Talent Acquisition at a high-growth company
  • Proven expertise in designing and scaling people systems, including recruiting, performance management, compensation, and engagement
  • Willingness to work in the New York City office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the People and Talent Acquisition functions, building systems that support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, learning and development, and engagement
  • Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on organizational design, headcount planning, hiring priorities, and company-wide goal setting
  • Ensure a consistently high talent bar and cultural alignment across the organization, embedding our values in hiring, performance management, and manager practices
  • Establish and monitor key people metrics, including time-to-hire, ramp time, engagement scores, performance distribution, and attrition, to guide decision-making and drive accountability
  • Build and run scalable processes for performance review cycles, compensation planning, leveling frameworks, internal mobility, and career pathing
  • Develop and implement programs that strengthen culture, manager capability, and employee engagement, with clear follow-through and measurable outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, lead employee relations practices, and maintain consistent policies and risk mitigation across jurisdictions
  • Own HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS), ensuring accuracy, clean data, process automation, and strong operating rhythms across teams
