7 or more years of experience performing construction stakeout surveying
Experience in construction stakeout field surveying procedures
Experience operating Robotic Total Station and data collector (Leica robotic total stations and data collectors strongly preferred)
Experience operating GPS-RTK equipment
Experience with AutoCAD, iPad, and Office Suite applications is a plus
Demonstrated leadership experience in the field managing a field crew
Strong communication skills—verbal and written—for client and team interactions
Proven ability to adapt to dynamic construction environments and troubleshoot on-site
Positive attitude and professional bearing
OSHA certification
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
Perform high-precision construction stakeout on multi-story buildings including gridlines, anchor bolts, multiple story gridline transfer, structural steel as-builts and deformation monitoring
Perform survey computations with Data Collector as it relates to construction stakeout
Provide office support for the preparation of cutsheets and stakeout exhibits
Prepare accurate daily notes, records, and sketches to describe work performed
Perform boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys and other related duties as assigned
Lead and mentor junior crew members in the field to ensure quality and safety standards
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to interpret plans and resolve field challenges
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and AMT procedures on all job sites
