Requirements
- 7 or more years of experience performing construction stakeout surveying
- Experience in construction stakeout field surveying procedures
- Experience operating Robotic Total Station and data collector (Leica robotic total stations and data collectors strongly preferred)
- Experience operating GPS-RTK equipment
- Experience with AutoCAD, iPad, and Office Suite applications is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership experience in the field managing a field crew
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written—for client and team interactions
- Proven ability to adapt to dynamic construction environments and troubleshoot on-site
- Positive attitude and professional bearing
- OSHA certification
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision construction stakeout on multi-story buildings including gridlines, anchor bolts, multiple story gridline transfer, structural steel as-builts and deformation monitoring
- Perform survey computations with Data Collector as it relates to construction stakeout
- Provide office support for the preparation of cutsheets and stakeout exhibits
- Prepare accurate daily notes, records, and sketches to describe work performed
- Perform boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys and other related duties as assigned
- Lead and mentor junior crew members in the field to ensure quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to interpret plans and resolve field challenges
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and AMT procedures on all job sites
