Requirements

  • 7 or more years of experience performing construction stakeout surveying
  • Experience in construction stakeout field surveying procedures
  • Experience operating Robotic Total Station and data collector (Leica robotic total stations and data collectors strongly preferred)
  • Experience operating GPS-RTK equipment
  • Experience with AutoCAD, iPad, and Office Suite applications is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the field managing a field crew
  • Strong communication skills—verbal and written—for client and team interactions
  • Proven ability to adapt to dynamic construction environments and troubleshoot on-site
  • Positive attitude and professional bearing
  • OSHA certification
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-precision construction stakeout on multi-story buildings including gridlines, anchor bolts, multiple story gridline transfer, structural steel as-builts and deformation monitoring
  • Perform survey computations with Data Collector as it relates to construction stakeout
  • Provide office support for the preparation of cutsheets and stakeout exhibits
  • Prepare accurate daily notes, records, and sketches to describe work performed
  • Perform boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys and other related duties as assigned
  • Lead and mentor junior crew members in the field to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to interpret plans and resolve field challenges
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and AMT procedures on all job sites
