Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in a trading floor support role, ideally with listed options
  • Understanding of Fidessa OMS/EMS or similar and its application to options workflows
  • Familiarity with US options market structure, exchanges (CBOE, ISE, etc.), and routing logic
  • Solid SQL skills and comfort with UNIX/Linux environments
  • Strong communication and incident management skills
  • Competency in SQL and databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase)
  • Knowledge of Client/Server applications
  • Comfortable working on Windows/Unix environments
  • Network experience
  • Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, ServiceNow, GIT)

Responsibilities

  • Provide L1/L2 production support for the Fidessa platform used in listed options trading
  • Monitor trade flows, order routing, drop copies, and exchange connectivity
  • Work closely with traders and sales to troubleshoot real-time issues
  • Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams during incidents, releases, and upgrades
  • Maintain documentation (runbooks, procedures, FAQs)
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders during incidents and planned outages
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., CAT reporting)
