  • Any Graduation
  • 7 to 11 years of experience (with 5+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, and at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role)
  • Proven experience in demand forecasting, S&OP processes, and inventory management within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and present data to senior leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in demand forecasting and reporting
  • Experience with demand planning best practices
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts

Responsibilities

  • Support the demand forecasting and planning process to align supply and demand with business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, finance, supply chain) to develop and manage demand plans that optimize inventory, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory
  • Perform SKU-level forecasting to determine stock purchases, considering forecasted demand, sales, and stock on hand; track short-term and long-term performance
  • Work with suppliers to plan intake around supplier capacity
  • Assist Merchandising team in implementing category strategy to deliver KPIs (sales, profit, stock, availability)
  • Own and manage category/range & SKU level forecasts to optimize sales, profit, and availability
  • Understand and use relevant systems for managing intake, availability, and stock
  • Maintain accurate records of commitments for stock intake and output forecasts
  • Liaise with sourcing team, brands, and suppliers to achieve optimal commitment and intake position
  • Work with supply teams to meet stock and availability targets
  • Analyze and solve moderately complex problems, creating new solutions by leveraging or adapting existing methods
  • Understand strategic direction from senior management related to team goals
  • Interact with direct supervisor, peers, management at client/Accenture
  • Manage small teams and/or work efforts (even in individual contributor role)
