Responsibilities

  • Support the buying team, ensuring tasks are undertaken accurately to drive overall performance in the business unit
  • Carry out accurate filing and maintenance of required records in line with company procedures and legal guidelines
  • Recommend and input into Pricing, Promotional Activity, Product specification, Supplier selection as appropriate to product data
  • Collect accurate data and provide actionable insights for category teams to implement
  • Build effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage end-to-end product setup process with core and non-core inputs once SKU is included in the Range Plan
  • Set up suppliers and products if required
  • Action product amendments in relevant systems when requested by Buying team (e.g., Pack Size, Description, Supplier factory information)
  • Manage product benchmarking (new or already ranged) against the market
  • Create and store product technical files (regulatory requirement for a product to be sold)
  • Maintain Product Approval Tracker
  • Manage reporting processes required for compliance based on product classification
  • Manage product return refunds – partial or full
  • Manage and resolve order issues by working with Supplier and Trading teams
