Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and demonstrate skills commensurate with modern departmental leadership for team support, work execution, status communication, and process improvement
  • Oversee planning and warehouse team day-to-day activities to support efficient resource allocation (materials, personnel, equipment) on the manufacturing gemba
  • Support end-to-end materials management from suppliers to end customers by collaborating with stakeholders to achieve goals
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions
  • Lead projects by initiating, planning, executing, and controlling cross-functional teams to achieve goals and meet success criteria within constraints
  • Ensure availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and maintain inventory at acceptable levels
  • Source and supply raw materials, utilities, and outside services, while coordinating global procurement efforts
  • Understand and adhere to Quality System Compliance to ensure processes meet requirements and customer needs
  • Coordinate with Finance on inventory carrying costs
  • Review and plan requirements for acceptable inventory levels
  • Work with customers to audit inventory levels and with internal/external vendors to comply with inventory policies
