Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years in supplier-facing quality engineering, preferably in mechanical hardware or components. They must demonstrate a strong ability to build and maintain supplier relationships and hold themselves accountable. A process-driven mindset is required, with the ability to think in systems rather than quick fixes. They should be capable of making decisions with limited data while keeping business outcomes in mind. Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other structured quality systems is required, and they must be a strong communicator comfortable onsite, remote, and cross-functional. Residing in the Seattle, WA region is required to be considered for this remote but local role.

Responsibilities

Onboard and grow Seattle-area supplier partners by evaluating and developing them, building robust control plans, and strengthening their ability to deliver consistent results. Lead root cause analysis, guide corrective actions, and drive preventive solutions with long-term impact. Use scorecards, maturity models, and QMS improvements to raise supplier performance. Travel regularly to supplier sites within the Seattle area and be the quality advocate in conversations with manufacturing partners. Represent the voice of customers inside every supplier interaction to ensure customer needs are understood and met.
