Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing
Direct supervisory and people management experience
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations effectively
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing operational efficiencies

Responsibilities

Lead team to meet or exceed operational goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
Implement process improvements by applying PPI, 5S, and Lean methodologies
Advise the daily work to ensure schedule completion while leading utilization and efficiency
Trend production metrics to identify areas of improvement
Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve operational excellence
Ensure effective performance evaluations are prepared and delivered for all employees
Coach and mentor staff to elevate overall performance and achieve departmental goals and objectives
Make technical and business risk decisions under real-time pressure
Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to
Initiate investigations into process failures, product failures, and safety incidents
Interact cordially with diverse internal functional groups to tackle moderately sophisticated problems
