Requirements

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Experience practicing lean manufacturing principles
  • Excellent digital literacy, especially Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Communicates company goals, safety practices, and production deadlines to the team
  • Motivates team members through recognition and development
  • Assesses team performance weekly and provides feedback if necessary
  • Works with management on continuous improvement, including projects, etc
  • Communicates with management regularly, including status updates, blocking issues, etc
  • Supports the team responsible for manufacturing, repair, and supply of spare parts to the service organization/field
  • Manages training plans throughout manufacturing
  • Reports directly to the manufacturing manager
