Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
  • Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products
  • Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise
  • Manages the operations in the distribution center to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded
  • Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations
  • Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices
  • Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics
  • Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success
  • Manages performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development
