Requirements

Current qualifications: National Lifeguard - Pool (NLS), Standard First Aid and CPR (LSS, RC or SJA preferred)
RC/LSS Instructor (preferred), LSS examiner (preferred)
Constant re-certification of awards to keep current
2 years’ experience as an aquatic instructor and lifeguard
Cash handling and inventory experience (asset)

Responsibilities

Supervise employees to ensure all operating standards are met for safety around pool areas, including Plunge Aquatic Center and off-site properties
Assist in upholding customer service, including facility cleanliness, guest safety monitoring, service recovery, guest escalations, and first aid
Perform duties in all facility positions as needed (e.g., LG, Instructor, CSR, Generalist, Pool Attendant) during breaks or coverage
Report incidents or emergencies immediately with appropriate paperwork
Participate in staff training and performance evaluations
Manage cashier float and ensure proper money handling procedures
Oversee front-line staff duties, rotations, breaks, and daily task lists
Collaborate with Assistant Manager and Manager on schedules, training, daily operations, performance management, and SOP implementation
