Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree and enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling
  • Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior
  • Successful completion of all Rogers onboarding training coursework prior to start
  • Formal training in the management of the aggressive patient (NCI) within sixty (60) days of placement, with annual re-certification
  • Successful completion of pre-placement background checks through the Rogers system
  • Successful occupational health clearance from provider

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and facilitate all direct social services to patients and their families
  • Provide social services to patients and their families/significant others
  • Complete all documentation within required time
  • Complete discharge documentation as required and on time
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of clinical interventions
  • Communicate professionally and accurately
  • Demonstrate strong interdisciplinary approach, facilitating effective communication among team members
  • Participate in site committees
  • Provide for patient safety and the safety of the facility
  • May include duties of cognitive behavioral therapies per program description and in partnership with university
