Requirements

Completed Bachelor's Degree and enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior
Successful completion of all Rogers onboarding training coursework prior to start
Formal training in the management of the aggressive patient (NCI) within sixty (60) days of placement, with annual re-certification
Successful completion of pre-placement background checks through the Rogers system
Successful occupational health clearance from provider

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and facilitate all direct social services to patients and their families
Provide social services to patients and their families/significant others
Complete all documentation within required time
Complete discharge documentation as required and on time
Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of clinical interventions
Communicate professionally and accurately
Demonstrate strong interdisciplinary approach, facilitating effective communication among team members
Participate in site committees
Provide for patient safety and the safety of the facility
May include duties of cognitive behavioral therapies per program description and in partnership with university
