  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
  • Currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program
  • Achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term
  • Desire to work in Commercial Insurance organization in Loss Control, Underwriting, and/or QA/QC areas
  • Area of study focused on Safety, Risk Management, or Insurance
  • Able to pass applicable background checks
  • Able to sign a non-disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventions
  • No visa sponsorship required

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the business, corporate culture, and structure to support work
  • Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations
  • Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations
  • Support and plan work on small projects with direction from management
  • Assume duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals
  • Present project results to management and/or department personnel
  • Perform analytical work within assigned functional areas
  • Work with and learn about Commercial/Farm Ranch Underwriting, Commercial Loss Control, and CFR Quality and Assurance department
  • Report to a Loss Control Senior Manager
