Requirements

MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), or above
Good experience in mechanical design, in particular of subsea pressure containing equipment and tooling
Robust knowledge of manufacturing technologies and machining, repairing processes
Robust knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T), drafting practices and main manufacturing technologies
Good knowledge of CAD tool CREO (PRO-E) and IPEM/TC database
Team player attitude and inclusiveness, combined with good communication skills

Responsibilities

Ensure daily extraction from the NCM tool of non conformances for the assigned projects
Ensure prompt resolution of non conformances, leading actions or proper RCAs where applicable
Lead revisions of drawings and parts where applicable
Provide support during Test and Assembly activities in the shop when required (Montrose, Scotland, UK)
Be accountable towards different functions involved, responsible to monitor relevant quality engineering metrics and control KPIs
Support requisition projects, and/or NPI/Product Structuring programs as engineering contact point within manufacturing shop operations
Involved in the resolution of non conformance driven by engineering, manufacturing or sourcing
