Requirements

  • MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), or above
  • Good experience in mechanical design, in particular of subsea pressure containing equipment and tooling
  • Robust knowledge of manufacturing technologies and machining, repairing processes
  • Robust knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T), drafting practices and main manufacturing technologies
  • Good knowledge of CAD tool CREO (PRO-E) and IPEM/TC database
  • Team player attitude and inclusiveness, combined with good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily extraction from the NCM tool of non conformances for the assigned projects
  • Ensure prompt resolution of non conformances, leading actions or proper RCAs where applicable
  • Lead revisions of drawings and parts where applicable
  • Provide support during Test and Assembly activities in the shop when required (Montrose, Scotland, UK)
  • Be accountable towards different functions involved, responsible to monitor relevant quality engineering metrics and control KPIs
  • Support requisition projects, and/or NPI/Product Structuring programs as engineering contact point within manufacturing shop operations
  • Involved in the resolution of non conformance driven by engineering, manufacturing or sourcing
