Requirements
5-10 years’ experience in a similar or related role
Hold a minimum of Certificate IV in Health and Safety
Hold or be willing to hold Occupational First Aid
Hold a Class C Unrestricted Driver’s License
Extensive experience in Work Health and Safety
Extensive experience in emergency protocol and procedures and skilled in fire response and appropriate certification
Proven experience in Alarm monitoring systems
Proven experience in Traffic control and relevant certification
Expected to be onsite at least 5 days per week
Unrestricted right to work in Australia/New Zealand (for external candidates)
Responsibilities
Lead safety at Disney Studios Australia
Ensure implementation of efficient health and safety solutions, emergency procedures and policies, training programs
Oversee creation and management of relevant health and safety documentation and reporting
Contribute to efficiencies in physical operation, improvements in WHS and compliance
Maintain proactive attitude toward providing best possible customer service to clients and staff
Work collaboratively with DSA business units, support functions (Global Security, Facilities, Human Resources), tenants, and productions to develop, coordinate, and promote effective safety initiatives
Engage with Studio community as advocate for improved safety and lowered environmental impact through planning, project implementation, research, reporting, and communication
