Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage transmission line stringing works, with preference for experience on 330kV and above transmission lines. Fluency in English is required, along with familiarity with stringing techniques, tensioning methods, and safety procedures. A mandatory Working at Height certification, and relevant certifications such as City & Guild or rigging/lifting/power transmission are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The High Voltage Power Transmission Line Stringing Specialist will be responsible for performing preparation works, paying out, jointing, clipping, tensioning, sagging, clamping, spacering, and jumpering for high-voltage transmission lines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. They will operate and maintain stringing equipment, install insulator string fittings, conductors, OPGW, and earth wires, and work at heights on lattice towers and monopoles. The role also includes adherence to safety regulations, coordinating with supervisors and engineers, troubleshooting technical issues, and working in challenging outdoor environments while demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.
