Requirements

  • Advanced experience in Sourcing & New Product Sourcing
  • Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies
  • Achieve the best contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction
  • Optimize the part & material definitions at R&D stage to make it easier to source
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of a discipline and use prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy
  • Communicate with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information to others in straightforward situations
  • Impact projects, processes, and procedures in own field, operating with some autonomy focused on execution within standard functional practices
  • Utilize technical expertise and judgement to solve problems, leveraging technical skills and analytic thinking
  • Use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions
