Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics or related role
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, compensation plan design, and market pricing methodologies
  • Experience with HRIS systems, compensation survey tools, and data visualization platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling) and familiarity with data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of pay transparency laws, FLSA, and other regulations
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights for business leaders
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in compensation planning
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to support the organization’s growth and talent strategy

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a company-wide compensation program, including salary structures, incentive plans, and job leveling frameworks
  • Develop competitive base and variable pay strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Conduct job evaluations and salary benchmarking to ensure pay equity and market competitiveness
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR partners to align compensation strategy with business objectives
  • Research and analyze salary survey data to determine market pay trends
  • Provide recommendations for pay adjustments based on internal equity and external market competitiveness
  • Partner with third-party vendors and industry associations to stay updated on compensation trends and best practices
  • Ensure the compensation program complies with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws)
  • Maintain pay equity and internal consistency in line with organizational and legal standards
  • Prepare reports and documentation to support audits and compliance reviews
  • Educate HR partners, managers, and employees on compensation philosophy, pay practices, and program changes
  • Develop tools and resources to help managers make informed pay decisions
  • Draft and approve job descriptions
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Create dashboards and reports to monitor the effectiveness of compensation programs
  • Provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership and executive teams
