Responsibilities

  • Direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities across multiple organizational levels, including proactive recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, performance evaluation, and recognition
  • Meet with associates, listen to concerns, research issues, leverage resources for time-sensitive requests, review policies, and provide resolutions while driving consistency
  • Ensure compliance by anticipating issues, developing relationships with officials, analyzing reports, implementing/monitoring controls, maintaining standards, overseeing reviews, and executing programs/initiatives
  • Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach; encourage associate involvement; establish/maintain relationships; represent the company to external groups/media; respond to media requests; champion programs/events/sustainability efforts
  • Drive financial performance by achieving sales/profit goals, executing process improvements, controlling expenses, interfacing with market teams, developing correction plans/budgets, and analyzing trends
  • Model, enforce, and guide proper customer service techniques for associates/managers to resolve customer issues within company standards
