Responsibilities

Work closely with managers and team members to understand Target’s retail business and excel in a management role
Spend majority of time leading amongst the team, identifying and working towards store priorities, and delivering great guest service
Learn to drive guest experience and impact store’s financial, team, and operational performance
Work alongside a mentor to learn effective department leadership and step into leading mentor's departments with guidance
Lead and motivate a team, drive sales results, merchandise products, and provide exceptional guest experiences
Participate in ongoing developmental conversations and support execution of daily operations by working beside team members
Build team culture and guide team to grow and achieve goals
Gain experience in guest service fundamentals, building and managing guest-first team culture, guest engagement, problem-solving, and resolution
Learn retail business fundamentals, setting and planning department monthly/quarterly workload to support priorities, and managing team to deliver service and sales goals
Manage team of hourly team members and leaders, create business strategies and goals, and handle recruiting, selecting, and talent management
Spend time on store salesfloor and backroom leading amongst team members and aligning team on daily business priorities
