Requirements

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age, possess the ability to remain upright on their feet for sustained periods, and be able to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly. Visual acuity is required to view computer terminals, read, and inspect small parts. Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Retail Store Associate will provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues; focus on the customer by greeting warmly, offering assistance, and maintaining eye contact; accurately perform cashier duties handling transactions and following policies; maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves and updating pricing; support opening and closing store activities; provide customer support to all departments; assist pharmacy personnel when needed; embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs; and potentially work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development.
