Requirements

  • 5 years and above in Oil and Gas, chemical industry, or plant EPC company as an engineer
  • Knowledge and understanding of Japanese regulation
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of international code and regulation (especially for ASME BVPC SEC.VIII)
  • Software: Excel or Spreadsheet
  • Mechanical engineering graduate
  • Native: Japanese Fluent
  • English (Intermediate)
  • Preferred
  • Experience of engineering in cryogenic pressure vessels and heat exchangers as static equipment engineer
  • Wide range of basic knowledge and understanding of process, electric, instrument, piping, pressure vessel, etc
  • Experience of commissioning and maintenance for static equipment
  • Experience of quality control and evaluation by vendor survey and prequalification

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of application documents for pressure vessels in accordance with Japanese local regulation
  • Design work for static equipment
  • Preparation of Technical requisition for static equipment
  • Technical clarification with vendors
  • Participation in qualification activity of new vendors
  • Troubleshooting during fabrication and commissioning
  • Participation in product development activities
  • Preparation, updating of Standard documents
  • Sales support, documents preparation for cost estimation for proposal activity
  • Managing the engineering documents into the company's system
  • Training new staff
