Responsibilities

Conduct research at the intersection of logistic engineering and data (IT) in the hypermodern warehouse
Analyze current inbound goods storage processes based on physical size (pallets in pallet warehouse, packages in automated goods-to-man system)
Identify optimization opportunities, such as avoiding inefficient replenishments or unnecessary pallet breakdowns
Develop a (big) data analysis solution that provides live recommendations for inbound products
Ensure recommendations account for expected outbound patterns and fill rates of both storage systems
