The Staff UX Designer will lead the design of AI-powered features for Firefox on desktop, guiding ideas from early sketches to live experiences. They will combine familiar interface patterns with inventive AI features to ensure browsing is fresh, fast, and easy to use. The designer will work autonomously to identify problems and propose solutions aligned with product strategy, user insights, and technical constraints. They will use storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes to explore and refine new ways for people to interact with AI in the browser. Collaboration with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content designers is key to making design decisions that benefit users and the product. Design decisions must prioritize privacy, accessibility, and trust in every interaction. The role also involves helping to grow and adapt Firefox’s design systems to maintain consistency and cohesion in the desktop experience.
