Requirements

  • 7+ years of technical program management experience, working directly with product management and hardware/firmware/software engineering teams
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex (many stakeholders) schedules on time, on-budget, and with high quality
  • Strong technical background with experience in facilitating discussions & contributing to design decisions surrounding firmware, cloud services, and mobile applications
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical details across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to influence teams without authority, effectively manage competing priorities, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Up to 10% travel within the United States and globally for key on-site activities
  • Preferred: 3+ years of software development experience
  • Preferred: Experience in the micro-mobility, bicycle, automotive, or related industries

Responsibilities

  • Align & influence key stakeholders in Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Firmware/Software Engineering, and Operations to drive roadmap planning and execution of large-scale programs
  • Lead cross-functional development from concept to delivery, overseeing software deliverables across globally distributed, cross-organizational teams
  • Take deep ownership of program outcomes by proactively anticipating risks, identifying dependencies, reducing ambiguity, and eliminating roadblocks that hinder stakeholders from moving forward
  • Communicate program health updates regularly with senior leadership & executives on schedule, status, risk, and change control
  • Create and streamline processes & mechanisms that increase efficiency and speed, driving best practices to ensure long-term product success
  • Mentor & develop within the program management function, raising the bar and standard for the role
