Requirements

  • Experience in product management, with at least 3 years focused specifically on B2B SaaS platforms, API products, or platform services
  • Proven ability to understand complex technical architectures, distributed systems, and modern cloud technologies
  • Exceptional ability to translate business goals into a clear, prioritized, and technical platform execution plan
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Prod)
  • Experience with technology integration partnerships, including defining integration requirements, assessing market fit, and managing partnership lifecycle
  • Ability to assess the target company’s technology stack, product fit, integration complexity, and value proposition alignment with the Panopto platform goals
  • Experience with M&A review and due diligence, including assessing the target company’s technology stack, product fit, integration complexity, and value proposition alignment with the Panopto platform goals
  • Strong architectural alignment, with experience in building scalable, performant, and secure platform services
  • Experience with data storage, analytics, and data-sharing services, including infrastructure scalability, reliability, and performance enhancements
  • Experience with authentication and authorization (SSO, identity management), core APIs and microservices, and data management services
  • Experience with security and compliance features, including data protection, access control, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with customer councils, advisor boards, and other stakeholder engagement activities
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and roadmap for the shared platform services that power both the Panopto VCMS and the Elai AI video solution
  • Build the Learning Platform Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and manage roadmap commitments for all shared components
  • Drive scalability, performance, and security across the entire product suite
  • Assist the CPO in evaluating Technology Integration Partnerships and conducting product reviews for M&A opportunities
  • Work closely with Engineering leadership across Product teams (Panopto and Elai) to ensure shared platform services meet their needs
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for platform health, adoption, and performance
  • Act as the internal voice of the Learning Platform, championing platform capabilities, trade-offs, and future vision to internal stakeholders
  • Engage and foster engagement with customers: Work in conjunction with colleagues in Product and Customer Experience to engage in Customer Councils and Advisor Boards
  • Assist the CPO in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing technology partners to enhance Panopto’s product ecosystem
  • Support the CPO in the technical and product review of potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A) targets
  • Assess the target company’s technology stack, product fit, integration complexity, and value proposition alignment with the Panopto platform goals
