Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience and strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and UI state management technologies such as Redux. They should also have experience with NodeJS server-side development utilizing frameworks like Express or Socket.io, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, drive projects forward, and operate creatively within constraints. Bonus points include experience in electronic trading systems, high-throughput/low-latency systems, the FIX protocol, Kafka, and proficiency in Java, Go, gRPC, and Protobuf.

Responsibilities

The Staff, Software Engineer, Front End will build highly available, horizontally scalable mission-critical applications using a modern technology stack, sharpen existing front-end and full-stack engineering skills by developing new features and working with users, develop a deep understanding of the business domain, and contribute to the Clear Street Execution Management System (EMS) team's mission of providing best execution for all asset classes across multiple regions by building a new cloud-based trading platform.
