Candidates should have extensive experience in the full feature development life cycle, including working with product managers, defining scope, designing database schemas, considering serving needs, collaborating with designers on UX, implementing interfaces, and maintaining features and systems. A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience is required, along with strong experience in Python and Typescript and/or React, and experience designing and building backend architectures that support multi-tenant applications.
The Senior Software Engineer will build a complex multi-tenant enterprise SaaS application to revolutionize insurance industry workflows and be a key contributor to EvolutionIQ’s unified claims platform. Responsibilities include working closely with data science and data engineering teams to build a robust, scalable, and intuitive web application, building and maintaining the backend REST server that feeds machine learning and BI data to the React frontend, owning the entire lifecycle of designing, building, and launching enterprise applications, and working on greenfield projects with high ownership. The role involves direct collaboration with the head of product, data science team, UX designers, and end users, shaping the future of Evolution IQ’s products through technology choices and roadmap building, providing technical expertise, introducing best practices, driving consistency, and prioritizing features to increase client impact. The engineer will also continue to grow and learn in the engineering space, focusing on business problems that utilize large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
AI software for insurance claims handling
EvolutionIQ creates software for the insurance industry that enhances the claims handling process using artificial intelligence. The software helps insurance examiners and adjusters identify the right claims to focus on, improving efficiency and accuracy. By understanding bodily injuries like a medical expert, it quickly assigns complex claims to specialized teams, leading to faster processing and better outcomes for claimants.
