Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
8 or more years of progressive experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
Proficient understanding and tech-lead level experience in one or more programming languages (Java, Scala, etc.)
Experience with Spring/Spring Boot
Experience with JSON, RESTful web services and client-server interactions
Experience with highly scalable websites and web services (Vue.js, Angular etc.)
Knowledge of and experience with Azure
Environment management/orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, etc.)

Responsibilities

Perform software engineering activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the appearance at the front-end
Be involved in all stages of software development, including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management
Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance
Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and work under minimal supervision
Lead by example doing hands-on platform, backend, and frontend development
Mentor team members to level up our overall skill set
Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback
Dig into system issues to understand and fix the cause, not the symptom
Design and implement changes in our development pipeline and cloud infrastructure
Investigate and propose new ideas, frameworks technologies, or processes
Designing solutions architecture
Building scalable web platform
Building RESTful APIs
Working with Infrastructure and security as code
Building high performing teams
