Requirements

Candidates should possess 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications, with experience in modern front-end frameworks like Ember, Angular, React, or Vue. A strong understanding of writing REST/JSON APIs and software tests is essential, along with the ability to autonomously solve technical problems. Preferred qualifications include experience with Node.JS, modern ES6 or TypeScript, Ember.JS, SaaS web applications, distributed systems, event-based engineering, workflow/notifications/tasking, micro frontend architecture, and bonus points for Docker or Kubernetes experience. A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will build and ship product features end-to-end, write clear and well-defined design documentation, and mentor fellow engineers. Responsibilities include leading application architecture decisions, troubleshooting and debugging software bugs, implementing back-end APIs in Node.JS, and working on the Ember SPA front-end. The role involves collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers within an Agile development lifecycle, writing well-designed, maintainable, and testable code, and thinking with a product-minded approach focused on the customer. Experience with JavaScript, Node.JS, Ember, Python, and PostgreSQL is expected.
