Requirements

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience building backend services and applications, with proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages. Experience with large-scale distributed systems, microservices, real-time streaming data, strong object-oriented design, API design, data modeling, data storage/retrieval, coding skills, and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms are essential. A proven track record of implementing strong engineering practices and experience mentoring other engineers are also required.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will influence the next iterations of architecture, implement industry best practices and novel technologies to improve the codebase and product, and contribute code to production systems. They will share responsibility for microservices, design significant features impacting multiple services, and partner with team members to plan and deliver customer applications supporting emerging use cases.
