Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working as Software Engineer
  • Experience with the following languages: C, C++, Golang
  • Knowledge of system and network security, and Linux internals (kernel, eBPF)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and building scalable distributed systems
  • Exposure to performance programming, memory safety, or data processing
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch
  • Adapt at managing priorities and applying analytical insight
  • Project owner
  • Experience as a technical leader
  • English fluency

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Engineering Manager/Tech lead
  • Support engineering managers and be a technical leader in your area, influencing technical decisions and guiding other engineers in the team
  • Build performance-critical bleeding edge technology within the Sysdig edge components and our cloud services
  • Architect and develop new real-time security detection and response features for Sysdig's products
  • Become a contributor and a maintainer of Falco and other Open Source projects maintained by Sysdig
  • Work together with a diverse set of partners including Sysdig's teams for threat research, quality, product management, and our closest customers
