8+ years of experience working as Software Engineer
Experience with the following languages: C, C++, Golang
Knowledge of system and network security, and Linux internals (kernel, eBPF)
Experience with Kubernetes and building scalable distributed systems
Exposure to performance programming, memory safety, or data processing
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch
Adapt at managing priorities and applying analytical insight
Project owner
Experience as a technical leader
English fluency

Responsibilities

Report to the Engineering Manager/Tech lead
Support engineering managers and be a technical leader in your area, influencing technical decisions and guiding other engineers in the team
Build performance-critical bleeding edge technology within the Sysdig edge components and our cloud services
Architect and develop new real-time security detection and response features for Sysdig's products
Become a contributor and a maintainer of Falco and other Open Source projects maintained by Sysdig
Work together with a diverse set of partners including Sysdig's teams for threat research, quality, product management, and our closest customers
