Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of experience developing product features on Linux or Unix using C/C++ with high concurrency and reliability requirements, demonstrating strong multi-threading skills and attention to detail in low-level operating characteristics. Experience developing production eBPF code for security or networking, and designing/developing container runtime engines or software that monitors containers or optimized virtual machine environments for containers is essential. Experience programming cloud-native workloads using public cloud platforms and containers is also required.

Responsibilities

The Engineer III - Sensor will create and maintain high-performance Linux system software components, analyze complex software features, and build effective test strategies and designs. Responsibilities include ensuring system and component reliability and performance through monitoring, testing, and debugging, as well as debugging product issues to identify root causes and improve tests. The role involves working closely with a team of engineers to maintain high product quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams for integration, and participating in code reviews and technical guidance. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to engineering best practices, lead strategic technical initiatives focused on container and orchestrator security, and participate in other assigned projects.
