Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, strongly preferred, and have at least 8 years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering software. Experience with mobile API’s, backend integration, migration to Elixir, and building new features for admins is desirable.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the next generation of the internal marketplace console, including scheduling, automations, payment flow, customer communications, reports, and dashboards. You will identify and propose strategies around technical problems, obtain buy-in from other teams, lead cross-functional projects, evaluate and recommend tools and technologies, mentor and develop junior engineers, identify and prioritize tech debt, and solve complex software problems with resilient and scalable solutions. Additionally, you will work with external contractors, delegate responsibilities as a Team Lead, test, release, and monitor your own code, and collaborate with the Product team to minimize technical complexity.
