Requirements

  • Experience designing and building backend APIs in distributed systems, with a focus on data-heavy or analytical use cases
  • A grasp of data modeling concepts
  • Solid development experience in Go or similar languages
  • Broad familiarity with database systems, knowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j is a plus
  • Understanding of API governance and best practices around consistency, versioning and access control
  • Proficiency with standard engineering tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerization)
  • Collaborate and guide projects with multiple partners
  • Interest in Cloud Security or experience working in that space is appreciated, but not required
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Engineering Manager
  • Lead the development of scalable APIs that expose insights from our Data Platform to applications and features across the company
  • Collaborate with Product and Application teams to understand their data needs and design interfaces that are intuitive and maintainable
  • Guide the evolution of the Data Platform model to serve use cases across domains like Vulnerability Management, Posture, and Identity
  • Contribute to the long-term vision and architectural direction of the Data Platform, focusing on how data is exposed and consumed
  • Champion quality, simplicity, and clarity in both data modeling and API design
