Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent U.S. degree, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an Application Developer, Software Developer, or a similar role involving Salesforce application development, testing, and deployment of Apex code. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or equivalent U.S. degree plus 3 years of relevant experience is acceptable. Applicants should also have experience in web development including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and general software development methodologies, 2 years of experience with SFDX IDE for automated deployments, 2 years of experience creating REST APIs and building integrations on the Salesforce platform, and 2 years of experience utilizing data structures, data modeling, and database schemas with a focus on Salesforce objects.

Responsibilities

The Staff Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies to support company initiatives. They will also develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems via REST, SOAP, and other API’s, automate deployment using SFDX, including code check-in using GitLab and executing automated code coverage tests, facilitate mentoring junior developers to follow best practices, document current and future state specifications, develop highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components, and design and create solutions with an emphasis on usability and high performance.
