Job Summary

PatientPoint is seeking a talented Senior Salesforce Developer to perform hands-on technical implementation and deliver functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform. This impactful role involves all phases of the software development lifecycle, including gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, attending technical requirement sessions, and developing/documenting technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in group sessions with developers to ensure coding best practices, maintain code quality, and manage production deployments.
  • Partner with architects, technical leads, and key individuals to recommend SFDC Platform improvements.
  • Drive user story analysis, elaboration, and design.
  • Ensure high code quality through unit tests and automation, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners for the definition, planning, modeling, governance, and implementation of Salesforce CRM capabilities.
  • Build customized solutions in Salesforce.com and associated systems (Apex, Lightning Component, Web Service, Flow, etc.) to support business requirements and processes.
  • Deliver effective development of Salesforce Best Practices and support end-users.
  • Effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
  • Maintain high levels of code coverage and unit testing.
  • Share knowledge with other developers regarding code quality and best practices.
  • Perform code reviews to maintain the highest code quality standards.
  • Manage production releases for the entire Salesforce org.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working with SFDC.
  • Professional experience with at least one full lifecycle Salesforce.com implementation.
  • Experience with JavaScript and SF Lightning.
  • Experience with CI/CD related processes and systems (e.g., Git Action, Jenkins).
  • Strong SFDC knowledge and integration components (Development, Visual Studio Code, Git, Data Loader, etc.).
  • Knowledge of deploying, customizing, and maintaining CRM systems.
  • Experience working within a Scrum/Agile environment.
  • Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and project management to understand requirements and describe software product features/technical designs.
  • Thorough understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology field.
  • Experience with Field Services Lightning and SFDC Communities.
  • Hands-on expertise in:
    • Salesforce development
    • Middleware tools (MuleSoft, Pervasive, Informatica)
    • External API Integration (REST, SOAP, etc.)
    • Database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
