Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer, with a strong focus on product development and reliability engineering. Experience with Rockwell Automation’s products or similar industrial automation systems is highly desirable. Strong understanding of quality methodologies, including Six Sigma, Design for Reliability, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), is required.

Responsibilities

The Staff Quality Engineer will develop and execute the end-to-end product/software quality strategy for assigned product lines, encompassing NPI, continuation engineering, customer anomaly management, and continuous improvement projects. They will apply technical skills to provide design input, propose risk mitigation actions, and ensure the highest quality and robustness in product and process design. This includes identifying and managing Critical-To-Quality (CTQ) parameters, contributing to innovation, and reviewing designs, drawings, and specifications. The role involves advocating for quality design methodologies, applying reliability engineering principles, and designing/executing reliability laboratory testing. Furthermore, the Staff Quality Engineer will conduct troubleshooting of module failures, lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and ensure corrective and preventive action planning, as well as support audits and ensure quality and manufacturing process readiness before mass production.
