Requirements

Candidates must have 8+ years of backend software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications, 6+ years developing scalable microservices, 6+ years designing cloud-native architectures with infrastructure as code, and 6+ years of experience with relational databases and optimized SQL. Additionally, 3+ years of Elasticsearch experience and advanced proficiency in Python 3 are required. Desired qualifications include strong front-end skills, experience with observability tools, containerization platforms, cloud security concepts, digital advertising ecosystems, and healthcare compliance standards.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed in AWS, developing scalable, high-performance solutions. They will contribute to architectural discussions, drive implementation of reusable solutions, and ensure the stability and performance of core platform services. Responsibilities also include participating in Agile ceremonies, conducting code reviews, collaborating with Product, DevOps, and Security teams, and mentoring peers and junior engineers.
