Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in STEM fields or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in software development, especially in the medical software industry
Experience working with medical/healthcare professionals in product development, innovation or research contexts
Experience working in an Agile environment, especially in a larger corporate environment

Responsibilities

Assist the Technical Product Director in defining the backlog for new versions of GE HealthCare's AW Server
Work closely with product management and software engineering teams in creating and maintaining the roadmap for new feature introduction
Understand user needs of various user profiles (clinical, IT admin, service engineer) by engaging key stakeholders
Act as a bridge between users, external stakeholders, and software engineering teams to ensure features are defined and delivered in line with user expectations
Lead engineering integration efforts between GE HealthCare and 3rd party products
Act as an internal expert on the product and associated competitive landscape
Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products
Collaborate with UX in design decisions
Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills to ensure alignment between customer, product manager, and engineering teams
Own and manage the backlog; continuously ordering and prioritizing it based on customer feedback for product increment planning
Demonstrate strategic skills in problem decomposition and navigating ambiguity
Engage frequently (50% of the time) with the development team: facilitate discussions, provide clarification, user story refinement, contribute to design activities and decisions
Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units
Partner with Service Owners to ensure healthy development process
Demonstrate excellent business acumen, keeping an eye on latest industry trends
